Boat Slips An application has been submitted for a private Laurens Place marina. The application requests 24boat slips on floating docks ranging from 30 ft. to 60 ft. each. In addition, seven electric boat lifts were requested for boats of 18 ft. to 25 ft. A large wave-attenuating dock will be installed along the eastern edge of the marina (from the outer pier of the Maritime Center stretching 270 ft. south). All Laurens Place docks would be inside the wave attenuator. If approved, the boat slips will be made available first to Laurens Place homeowners on a rental basis.
Parking Each unit will be provided two assigned, covered spaces. Most parking spaces will be within a few steps of the elevators.
Office Space Two floors of leasable office space with no access to residential area. Office space has separate entrance, lobby, elevator and parking.
Security Features There is a code-operated controlled access system installed. Entrance to the parking will be via one of two gates installed at the entry. Entrance to each of the four elevator lobbies will be via the controlled access system. The elevators will be badge or code operated to access only specific floors. Once the designated floor is reached, the passenger will exit onto an attractive vestibule before entering one of two condominiums on that floor.
