COOSAW CREEK COUNTRY CLUB is a a member owned semi-private golf course and country club located within a thirty minute drive from downtown Charleston. Its private 645-acre gated residential community featuring fairway view home sites and gracious southern traditional homes. PINE FOREST COUNTRY CLUB says "Old South" with grace and style. The course was built on the site of the Hunt Club Grounds for the historic Pine Forest Inn. The Inn was one of the great resorts in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries when Summerville was identified as one of the two healthiest places on the planet to live. Pine Forest was one of the earliest golf courses in the United States dating back to1891. This is historic not elegant.
Golf Digest nicknamed this course "The Hidden Gem of Charleston". Pine Forest was previously considered one of the most challenging and beautiful courses in the Lowcountry. Located off Interstate 26 at exit 199A, the location makes Pine Forest convenient for people living in Summerville, and not too difficult to travel to from Charleston.
